Leisure Activity - Harry Potter Opening Test (2011)

I created this piece of work shortly before the release of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2'. As I am a big Harry Potter fan, I decided to create a 'tribute' by recreating what I had produced before (in 2009) but using the knowledge and skills I have gained since to make this piece much more better.

Requested - Editing Task - Biology NGS Stem Cell Video (2011)

I was requested by the Head of Biology to edit footage that was shot by a group of students known as the NGS (Next Generation Scientists) group. I was responsible for applying editing techniques and sound techniques, that I had learnt during AS Media Studies (through the study of TV drama). I had not used Premiere Pro before and the video had to be completed the day after they gave it to me. Within 24 hours I experimented with the software, learnt how to use it, edited the footage (from 30 minutes down to 9.5 minutes) and burned it onto a DVD disk using DVD authoring software, Windows DVD Maker. The video was meant to mix information about stem cells and comedy.

AS ICT - Structured Task - Dulton School Logo (2010)

As part of my AS ICT coursework, I had to design and create a logo for an imaginary school based on some requirements. One requirement was that the logo had to have the school name on it, had to follow a science/technology/future theme and had to be created from scratch without the use of clipart and internet images. Below you will see a plan of the logo and underneath that you will find a copy of the completed logo.

Leisure Activity - Harry Potter Opening Test (2009)

After watching 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' on the day of the release, I felt inspired by the way they created the opening. So I decided to attempt to create a possible opening for the next Harry Potter film.
